Michael Schumacher has trimmed in two points plus his disadvantage in the Championship of the World with Fernando Alonso after late adjudging the this victory in the Great Prize of Europe in front of the Spanish in a very tactical race and that has been decided in the second round of shutdowns in boxes. In the exit, Fernando Alonso has not had problems to stay in first position after starting off from pole and Schumacher has been placed just behind. During the 39 following returns, the difference between both pilots has always gone up to around the second until Alonso has refuelled for the second time. Schumacher still had gasoline sufficient to complete three returns in those more than the German has flown on the layout of Nurburgring having marked the best time of race returned after return. That has allowed him to the pilot of Ferrari once made its re-fuelling reincorporare to the track with a comfortable advantage on Alonso. From there, Schumacher has been limited to control the race until crossing the line of goal in the first place. Alonso also has given the sensation to give by lost the race nothing else to see behind the German after the second re-fuelling and also it has administered his effort making sure that Felipe Massa, who came very hard behind, could not put in danger his second position in the last returns of race. Felipe Massa has completed a very good performance to the steering wheel of the second Ferrari and has been able to control to his first re-fuelling, that has not been made in the opportune moment and it has forced to him to roll behind Trulli nothing else to reincorporar itself to the track. Even so, the Brazilian has recovered and concluded the race in third position and to less of a second of Fernando Alonso. Of this form, Massa has obtained its first podio since it competes in the World-wide one of F1. Kimi Raikkonen advanced to Rubens Barrichello in the first return of the race and after completing first ` stint' very long, made sure the fourth position in a Great Prize in which McLaren Mercedes does not have counted with the potential sufficient to fight by the victory. This fourth position maintains to the Finn in the fight by the Championship, but little by little Raikkonen withdraws with respect to Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher. The one of today it has been a hard race for Sling, but Barrichello, with a spectacular but not at all very constant pilotage it has been able to save the homor finalizing in fifth position and maintaining to ray to Giancar it Fisichella and Nico Rosberg that they pressed to him behind. Jenson Button was forced to leave the race when it rolled in fifth position by a failure of motor. The sixth position of Fisichella is a quite acceptable result considering its position of exit. The Italian has obtained this sixth position thanks to a large extent to that he has managed to advance to the BMW Sauber de Jacques Villeneuve in the second shutdown in boxes. Fisichella has crossed the line of goal a second and means of delay with respect to right Barrichello and in front of Nico Rosberg, that has rendered at a great level to the controls of its Williams Cosworth. After taking the exit from 22ª position, a first length stint has allowed the young German pilot to finalize seventh a less than half second of Fisichella. Jacques Villeneuve has obtained the last point after making an impressive pilotage again. Without a doubt the Canadian could have finished in sixth position, but it lost positions in the second round of shutdowns, where, first Fisichella and soon Rosberg, advanced to him. Ralf Schumacher seemed on the verge of being able to finish sixth when it defended his position of single Fisichella for want of six returns. Unfortunately for the pilot of Toyota, its motor failed and had to give by finished the race. A similar situation has lived Juan Pablo Montoya in the same return, although the Colombian rolled outside the points, in ninth position. Single other five pilots have finished the race, with Jarno Trulli in ninth position and dubbing, in front of Nick Heidfeld in the second BMW Sauber. Scott Speed has been 11º in its Toro Rosso, while Tiago Monteiro has fought with its companion in MF1 Toyota Christijan Albers, to obtain 12ª position. The race of Tonio Liuzzi finished before beginning, since Ralf Schumacher forced to him to do I spin a top in the first return. David Coulthard had the bad luck to be at bad moment and bad place, when it struck the Toro to him Rosso de Liuzzi. Mark Webber overcame seven positions in the exit, raising to 12ª. Nevertheless, in a moment the pilot of Williams Cosworth underwent another hydraulic problem and of change. Christian Klien was the following one in retiring when leaving outside track with its Network Bull Ferrari due to some technical failure, while to Franck Montagny it failed his Honda motor to him and Takuma Sato had to take its Super Aguri to boxes with a problem. It has been a great race of Michael Schumacher, who has demonstrated that Imola was not single an isolated spark. Alonso knows now that to win it will not be so easy during the rest of the season while it goes to his Great Prize of house, where will have desire still more to take revancha on his German rival. Fernando Alonso continues leading the championship of Formula One 2006 with a total of 44 points. Michael Schumacher is second with 31 units, followed of Kimi Räikkönen (23 points), Giancar it Fisichella (18 points), Felipe Massa and Juan Pablo Montoya with 15 points each one
